70 Arrowsmith kids have headed away for a great 4 days at Mt Hutt Retreat. They had an awesome first day - walking into camp, meeting their activity group parent, exploring the camp, first camp meal and listening to the Year 6 children who wish to be our School Leaders. Check out some photos from the first day... you can also see more on Manuka's blog. Today we had Stephen and his two dogs (Jake and Piccolo) walk to Tinwald School with his micro camper to share some information about what he is doing for the next year! We were amazed to hear how he is going to walk over 4500kms to raise awareness for animal welfare in New Zealand. If you want to learn more about the amazing journey Stephen, Jake and Piccolo are on, click on the link below, and feel free to spread the word!!

We gathered lots of rubbish and we are keen to keep our school and country clean from now on!
Wow! What a fantastic turn out we had for the Tinwald B.E.S.T community night! A huge congratulations to the students who worked hard to learn the songs and help put the night together. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Below is the powerpoint used on the night if you would like to revisit what was presented. Well we had a wet start to the day today and unfortunately had to cancel the Forest Survivor programme. We still went ahead with Adrenalin Forest and everyone had an awesome time. There were so many who achieved better than they thought they could and all came away proud of their efforts. We finished the day with a great camp fire, toasting marshmallows and eating them between chocolate biscuits - yum!
Arrowsmith are all tucked up in bed after their first day at Blue Skies Camp. We managed to avoid the rain and got through most things on our programme. Some highlights from today have been swimming, flying fox, nachos, chocolate mousse and BINGO. Check out some photos below...
